Walkways on flat roofs

The roofing membranes that are commonly installed are not very slip resistant, especially in wet weather. Our plastic mats have a good grip due to the profile on the upper side and thus offer the best slip resistance. They also provide excellent load distribution.

To facilitate inspection and maintenance walks on a flat roof, or to allow safe crossing, you should equip the floor with high-quality walkway slabs. This makes it easy, fast and inexpensive to create non-slip maintenance paths on flat roofs. These ensure that the roof waterproofing is not damaged by people or work equipment on it and, of course, also provide the necessary protection for workers at airy heights. This is given even in adverse weather conditions, because our mats have increased slip resistance even when wet.

Our customer company FDT Flachdach Technologie GmbH obtains the special mats for maintenance paths on flat roofs in 2 colors – gray and black. The black version, which is used for Rhepanol roofing membranes, is easy to install and is simply fixed by hot air welding. Matching the Rhenofol roofing membranes, there is the gray walkway mat, which is also
can be fixed with the Rhenofol paste. The function of both mats is identical.

Since our products are all made from recycled material, the sustainability and environmental friendliness of these maintenance path mats should also be emphasized.
